AIW End of the World

Results from last night's @aiwrestling #EOTW event at Turner Hall in Cleveland Ohio - all AIW wrestling blog posts.

  1. Josh Alexander pinned Louis Lyndon after hitting a spinning tombstone piledriver.
    
  2. AIW Womens Champion Allysin Kay defeated Kobald (with Veronica Ticklefeather) after hitting a T-bone suplex
    
  3. Davey Vega beat Chuck Taylor (with the Swampmonster)
    
  4. Old School Express (Jock Samson, Marion Fontaine and Colt Cabana) defeated The Submission Squad (Pierre Abernathy, Evan Gelistico and Gary Jay) when Cabana forced Jay to tap out in the Chicago Crab.

  5. Jarek 1:20 pinned Jacka after hitting a kick in a Beyond Wrestling Showcase match.
    
  6. Chris Dickinson beat Colin Delaney. Afterward, Dickinson offered his condolences to AIW Executive Chanler Biggins after the loss of his father. Before leaving Dickinson kicked Delaney one more time.

  7. The Batiri (Kodama & Obariyon with Veronica Ticklefeather) defeated Irish Airborne (Jake and Dave Crist) when Kodama pinned Jake Crist after an F5 kick combination.

    Afterward, Veronica and the Batiri were set to announce their plans for the end of the world when Nixon (Eric Ryan, Rickey Shane Page with Duke Schork) emerged from the lockeroom and delivered a beat-down of The Batiri which lead to ...
    
  8. Eddie Kingston and Johnny Gargano defeated Nixon Wrestling (Rickey Shane Page and Jimmy Jacobs substituting for Bobby Beverly with Duke Schork) when Gargano pinned Jacobs. During the match, a Nixon masked man came to the ring and threw a fireball in Page's face. The masked man was revealed to be Chest Flexor. After Flexor left the ring area, Schork accompanied Page back to the locker room leaving Jacobs by himself.
    
  9. Ethan Page (with Seleyza Sparx) pinned AR Fox. The advertised matches for the night were AR Fox against Davey Richards and Page against Kyle O'Reilly. Due to travel difficulties and illness, Richards and O'Reilly couldn't make the event and their opponents faced each other instead.
    
  10. AIW Tag Team Champions Hope and Change (Greg Iron and Veda Scott with Southside St. Clair) defeated Youthanazia (Josh Prohibition and M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross) when Iron pinned Cross with a roll-up after hitting a low blow.
    
  11. Eric Ryan (with Duke Schork) pinned AIW Absolute Champion Tim Donst to win the title. After Schork interfered several times in the match, Eddie Kingston came to the ring to assist Donst. Kingston and Donst exchanged words leading to Kingston hitting Donst with the Backfist to the Future (Spinning backfist). Before leaving the ring, Kingston gave Ryan a Backfist to the Future as well causing him to fall on top of Donst leading to the pinfall.
