Results from Saturday's @aiwrestling #WrestleRager3 event at Now That's Class in Cleveland Ohio - all AIW wrestling blog posts.

The main event was a rematch from the #ABSO13 show between #DukeMoney (Mance Warner and Jock Samson with The Duke) and Party Never Stops (Big Twan Tucker and Parker Pierce) against Weird World ("Weird Body" Evan Adams and "World Wide" Alex Kellar) and The Philly Marino Experience (Philly Collins and Marino Tenaglia).

1. Gringo Loko pinned Ryder Reid via swanton bomb off the top rope in a six-pack scramble match also involving Brian Carson, Spyder Nate Webb, Rex Brody and AJ Gray.
   
   
2. Britt Baker defeated Allie Kat via double underhook crossface submission.
   
   
3. "The Bone Collector" Dominic Garrini beat TKD via referee stoppage when Tom Dunn ruled TKD could not continue.
   
   
4. Joshua Bishop pinned Zach Thomas after hitting a black hole slam in a fatal four-way match with Derek Director and PB Smooth.
   
   
5. The Production (Frankie Flynn & Magnum CK with Derek Director) defeated The Jollyville F***-Its (Nasty Russ Myers and T-Money) when Magnum CK hit the top rope elbow on Myers setting up the pin for Flynn.
   
   INTERMISSION
   
   
6. Swoggle beat Dr. Daniel C. Rockingham in a Deathmatch after hitting the Stone Cold Stunner onto to a pile of thumbtacks.
   
   
7. PCO defeated Matthew Justice after hitting a tombstone piledriver in a triple-threat match also involving Sabu (with Super Genie). During the match, Justice leaped off the top of a U-Haul onto both Sabu and PCO.  Then Destro appeared with a mobile battery and jumper cables to give PCO a "jump" and started his comeback.
   
   
8. The Young Studs (Eric Ryan & Bobby Beverly) beat The Production (Danhausen & Eddy Only) when Ryan pinned Only after hitting a Tiger Bomb.
   
   
9. Eddie Kingston pinned Wes Barkley after hitting the backfist of the future.
   
   Up next was the main event, between #DukeMoney (Mance Warner and Jock Samson with The Duke) and Party Never Stops (Big Twan Tucker and Parker Pierce) against Weird World ("Weird Body" Evan Adams and "World Wide" Alex Kellar) and The Philly Marino Experience (Philly Collins and Marino Tenaglia) in a Fans Bring The Weapons StreetFight.  The Duke cut a promo stating he was wrestling tonight and the match was going to be five on four.   During the ring introduction, Swoggle attacked referee Dave "The Potato" Dawson and stole his shirt.  Ring announcer Steve Guy asked AIW President Matt Wadsworth if Swoggle could officiate the main event which was approved.  During the match John Thorne emerged to even the odds.
   
   
10. Weird Work Experience ("Weird Body" Evan Adams, "World Wide" Alex Kellar, Philly Collins, Marino Tenaglia and John Thorne) defeated #DukeMoney (Mance Warner, Jock Samson and The Duke) and Party Never Stops (Big Twan Tucker and Parker Pierce) when Kellar hit the Duke with a guitar, PME hit the flapjack flatliner to the Duke, Thorne delivered a middle rope double foot stomp to the Duke and Adams scored the pinfall.
    
    

HITS

Now That's Class The star of this show was Now That's Class, the venue. Picture a wrestling show in the parking lot behind a neighborhood bar. Yep, you guessed it. Whether you like wrestling or not, this is the type of show to attend at least once.

The Main Event This match was the perfect ending for this kind of show. By now I had been in the sun so long, watched so many dives and weapons that I was numb. Still these guys took it to the next level. If #DukeMoney and the Weird World Experience stay away from each other for a while, this was the proper blow-off. For fans who wanted to see John Thorne vs. The Duke, they were not disappointed. This isn't a show or a match you can run every time but used sparingly, it can work.



MISSES

Garrini/TKD This match went way too long. I haven't seen TKD before so he was new (in the ring that is, he has sold me beer tickets many times at Our Lady at Mount Carmel). Garrini appeared to wrestle heel which didn't make sense to me because he had been a babyface for most of AIW run. I didn't care for either guy so this just didn’t work
