AIW Gauntlet for the Gold 11

Results from last night's @aiwrestling #GFTG11 event at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School in Cleveland Ohio - all AIW wrestling blog posts.

  1. Frankie Flynn pinned Eddie Kingston (with The Duke) with a small package.

Afterward, The Duke was upset with Kingston and Kingston said "I Quit."

  2. To Infinity And Beyond (Colin Delaney & Cheech) defeated AIW Tag Team Champions Hot Sauce Entertainment (Hot Sauce Tracey Williams and Tyson Dux) to win the titles when Cheech pinned Williams after hitting the GTS – Go to Sleep (Fireman's carry dropped into a knee lift). Afterward, Dux challenged Cheech and Delaney to a rematch at the April 8 show.

  3. Alex Daniels pinned Britt Baker to win a six-person scramble match including Dr. Daniel C. Rockingham, Joshua Singh, Dominic Garrini and Garrison King.

  4. Alex Shelley beat Candice LeRae after hitting the Automatic Midnight / WA4 (Over the shoulder back-to-belly piledriver).

Afterward, Shelley made a disingenuous proposal to LeRae and then put her in the Border City Stretch (Chickenwing over the shoulder crossface). LeRae's boyfriend Johnny Gargano made the save and challenged Shelley to a match at the April 8th show.

  5. Johnny Gargano forced "Bad Boy" Joey Janela (AIW debut) to tap out to the Garga-No-Escape (Chickenwing over the shoulder crossface) to win a four-man scramble match including Cedric Alexander and Louis Lyndon.

  6. AIW Intense Champion JERRY defeated "Stunt Man" Rex Brody when Jerry had his knees up when Brody came off the top rope leading to a crucifix pin.

  7. Raymond Rowe pinned Pentagon Jr. (AIW debut) after hitting a Gut-wrench powerbomb.

  8. AIW Absolute Champion Ethan Page defeated Zack Sabre Jr. (AIW debut).

Up next was the Missy Hyatt and Dick Justice Wedding.  Col. Robert Parker protested the wedding nuptuals which led to Jock Samson attacking Dick Justice.  During the altercation, Hyatt turned on Justice and left the ring with the rest of the heels.
  9. Josh Prohibition won the 30 Man "Gauntlet For The Gold 11" Main Event and securing a title shot against the AIW Absolute Champion in the main event of Absolution 11. Prohibition was the 26th entrant in the match last eliminating Raymond Rowe
