HITS

Fatal four-way tag team match This was a good match featuring four real good teams. I'm intrigued by the new combination of Duke, Mance Warner and Jock Samson. PME is super over with the fans. The Young Studs are always fun to see as a nostalgic team.

The real hit here is the Production winning. The combination of Eddy Only and Danhausen are the lesser known members of the group and getting the win here. Neither guy was in the battle royal later on which was good. The Production are over and on a roll. I'd like to see these guys feuding with more established wrestlers.

Super Oprah We haven't seen her(him) wrestle in AIW in a long time so this was fresh. Battle Royals are long matches that sometimes drag in the middle. By having Super Oprah come out in the middle and interact with today's roster was funny. Tim Donst had a great facial expression when he accidentally pulled her wig off.

Hot Sauce Wins Tracy Williams winning is a surprise since he received a title shot against AIW Champion Nick Cage at the DilEMMA show last month. This could speak to the lack of a strong AIW roster right now. Still I like surprises and appreciate when wrestling is not predictable. Now I'm curious to see where AIW goes from here between now and Absolution 13 in July.

Plus this is also a hit because Hot Sauce appears at every show and delivers quality matches every time out. Still waiting for him to wrestle Tim Donst.

Overall show Not every match on this card was hit worthy but once again another solid show with something for everyone.

MISSES

MJF vs. Dick Justice I like the MJF character and the dastardly heel who is arrogant and no redeeming qualities at all. He proved he can do comedy at last month's show. The problem is Dick Justice comedy just isn't funny. At one point, MJF kicked an "invisible gun" out of Justice's hands and it got stuck in the gym rafters. Yep, it was that bad.

AIW: Enter The Dragon
3/10/2018 Akron, Ohio  results courtesy of @WrestlingCheers; review.

  1. Matthew Justice pinned Chase Oliver after hitting a sunset driver in a triple threat match also involving Bobby Beverly.

  2. Britt Baker defeated Karen Q via Rings of Saturn submission (step-over head-hold armbar).

  3. AIW Tag Team Champions Twins (PB Smooth & Swoggle) defeated Big Twan Tucker & Parker Pierce when Smooth pinned Pierce after hitting the Call the Coroner (sitdown chokeslam).

  4. "The Bone Collector" Dominic Garrini defeated Dan Severn (substituting for Eddie Kingston who canceled due to a death in the family) via triangle choke.

Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat addressed the crowd. The Duke interrupted and took some lumps from Steamboat.

    INTERMISSION

  5. The Production (Frankie Flynn, Derek Director, Magnum CK and Eddy Only) defeated The Philly Marino Experience (Philly Collins and Marino Tenaglia) & Weird World ("Weird Body" Evan Adams and "World Wide" Alex Kellar) when Flynn forced Adams to tap out via ankle lock.

  6. Kevin Thorn beat Dr. Daniel C. Rockingham in a Hoban Knights street fight after hitting a crucifix bomb.  Thorn attended nearby Archbishop Hoban High School.

  7. DJZ pinned Tre Lamar with a rollup and a handful of tights.

  8. Joshua Bishop defeated Josh Prohibition by disqualification.

Afterward, Prohibition continued to beat down Bishop when Chase Oliver and Tre Lamar made the save. Prohibition then challenged the three members of No Consequences to a match at Gauntlet for the Gold 13.
