The main event was AIW Absolute Champion Josh Prohibition defending the title against former champion Tim Donst. The two wrestlers have been on a collision course since Prohibition won the title at #ABSO11 and was attacked by Donst afterward. Donst's most recent title reign ended when he was forced to vacate at the I Choo-Choo-Choose You show.

HITS
Tolar vs. Briley The first 90 seconds of the match was a recreation of the recent Bill Goldeberg/Brock Lesnar match at WWE Survivor Series PPV. Tolar shoved Briley out of the corner and quickly delivered a spear as he turned around. Tolar then executed another spear and a Jackhammer on Briley. Great way to start the show. The crowd was into Tolar despite not wrestling a match in over seven years.
Fatal four-way The highlight was the interaction between Smooth and Kingston. This was a good way to introduce Smooth to the crowd. Kingston did a nice job demonstrating how tall Smooth is. These two are a collision course.
Cross vs. Cabana This match was part comedy and part serious. Cabana picks a fight with an old woman in the crowd and it turned out to be Cross' grandmother. It turns out Granny gets over with the crowd.
Baszler vs. Lovelace Another match that told a good story. Lovelace was the underdog babyface vs. Baszler the cocky heel champion. Lovelace is headed to WWE so I didn't expect her to win here but she did have some believable near falls. Baszler looked strong in winning.
Garrini vs. Sabre Jr. This is the best match I've seen from Garrini. The match was booked so both guys looked good. Sabre Jr. gets the win which might be his first in AIW after putting over Ethan Page and Louis Lyndon. The post match angle involving the Duke gives us something to look forward to.
Overall Show Despite three crummy matches on the card, this was a good show: (1) started on time; (2) none of the matches seemed to drag; (3) the undercard matches didn't take anything away from the main event street fight.
MISSES
Ninja Elite Squad vs. To Infinity and Beyond vs. Dedication Personified This match was just there. Way too much action, way too much high risk maneuvers and not enough selling. As I type this I've already forgotten who won.
Space Monkey vs. Kaylee Perez This match sucked - easily the worst wrestling match I will see this year. I think Perez was supposed to play a character that is strangely attracted to Monkey. Sex with animals? A bestiality angle? This is insulting. Dick Justice was terrible, incredibly annoying and not funny. At one point, Justice grabbed a banana and started choking. Monkey made the save by giving him the Heimlich which led to the pinfall finish. Monkey should have just let him choke.
Cage vs. Page You can tell these guys are friends from other promotions. I believe this is Brian Cage's AIW debut. The two had a pose down during the contest. This just wasn't much of a match, it will felt they were braking kayfabe too much. The last time I saw Ethan Page he was dastardly heel and here he's buddies with his opponent - just didn't make sense.
